WAVA High School Counselor (Long Term Substitute through remainder of 2024-25 school year)

Washington Virtual Academies (WAVA), an Alternative Learning Environment (ALE) program of Omak School District, is seeking motivated and energetic WA State certified teachers to work in our innovative on-line educational environment. WAVA’s mission is to empower every student for success in learning, work and life.  WAVA’s core belief is that ALL students are capable of success – no exceptions.  WAVA teachers work primarily from their homes and must reside in WA State. 

 

Utilizing leadership, advocacy and collaboration, the WAVA School Counselor promotes student success by providing preventive services and responding to identified needs through implementation of a comprehensive school counseling program that helps guide all learners in their academic success, personal and social development, and career and college planning and readiness.
